I just love performing weddings! Bringing two people who love each other together, leaves you with a wonderful feeling. I love hearing their stories. So I thought I'd put some on the web-site:)

Got a call today 7a.m. from a very nervous young man who exclaims, "I'm getting married today! Ummmm could you perform the ceremony?" I wasn't booked, just had a day of gardening ahead of me, so of course I said I'd do it:) I wasn't sure why it was so urgent, till I got to their apartment. The bride was just home from the hospital, recovering from surgery and the groom? Well he was being deployed and couldn't stand to leave her without first making her his wife! She had her mom and that's all she needed.....
I pray for all my couples to have a long happy ending. I'm sure these two will live happily ever after!

I had a very unique wedding to perform today. A surprise wedding! This sweet couple was expecting their first baby. They had all their family and friends gathered for the baby shower.
"Surprise! We're getting married!"

I got the call Monday " Are you free to do a wedding on Wednesday?" As luck would have it I was! "So why Wednesday?" I ask?
"Because they are inducing me Thursday!" Was the response:)
